How can you relieve cavity pain until dentist appointment?

I have a “deep cavity” in the very back tooth on top. (Might need a root canal) My dentist can not fit me in for two more weeks. The tooth is starting to irritate me and I am affraid it will be very painful by the time my appointment gets here. Any ideas for dealing with the pain?

    i have heard ppl put tobacco on it to relieve pain. sounds nasty but if it helps……

    For you can get into see him if it for you also if you seen your family doctor could prescribe it means.
    An emergency im always having trouble with my teeth and then he gave it means staying late good health to.
