		<description>Use heat to relax the muscle,  take either a couple of Excedrin for the pain or 2 Ibuprofen every four hours or Tylenol.  They will all help the pain.

After the heat  use a cold pack, alternating is always helpful for me.

Compressing it will really not accomplish anything.
