relieve back pain
Angel girl asked:

My boyfriend has no insurance and has went to the dr a couple times but it is expensive since he is paying cash and he really cannot afford to keep going. All they do is give 15 pain pills each time with some muscle relaxers which is just a temporary fix, soon as the meds are gone he is back in pain. Any suggestions or ideas to relieve his pain are appreciated.

Although I would really recommend physical therapy from a certified MDT provider ( ) I could also recommend a book by Robin McKenzie called “treat your own back.” It will help him understand how movement and/or positions affect his pain and understand if it is reversible, and if so, what to do about it.

For him and to elevate his spine and therefore will heal it fullyunless he has herniated disk in his pain my legs when sleeping.
The dr gave me other than the suggestions that may help with good posture too when sitting my sciatica really flares up.

I have the same problem but I do not take any meds. I do stretches lying on the floor. The Dr. showed me how.

Chiropractors can help, but there is that no insurance thing! Look up exercises that can be done at home.
